Privacy Policy
Your data is yours.
Last updated: June 21, 2026
We built FundScoutAI to help small business owners get funding — not to harvest their data. Here's exactly what that means, with no legal jargon.
We never sell or share your data.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your business information, drafts, or account details with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing.
We only collect what's needed to do the job.
That's your business profile (so we can match you to grants), the applications you draft, and the basics needed to keep you signed in. That's it. No tracking pixels, no advertising trackers, no cross-site cookies.
Your drafts and business info are private to your account.
Only you can see your business profile and the applications you've drafted. Our database enforces this at the row level — no other user can read your data.
Cookies: only the essentials, on by default. Anything else is opt-in.
We use the minimum cookies required to keep you logged in. If we ever add optional analytics, they will be off by default and you'll be asked to actively turn them on — and we'll respect your "no."
You can delete everything, anytime.
Go to Account Settings and choose "Delete my account." This permanently removes your profile, your saved grants, every draft, and your sign-in record.
Service providers we use to run the app.
We use a hosting and database provider to store your data securely, and an AI provider to generate your draft applications from the information you give us. They process data only to operate the service — they don't get to use it for their own marketing.
Third-party services we use.
To operate FundScoutAI we use the following service providers, each of which processes data only to deliver the service:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting
- OpenAI — AI model used to generate grant application drafts
- Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions
- Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth
None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
Your state privacy rights.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of sale (we never sell data). Residents of other states with similar privacy laws have equivalent rights. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@fundscoutai.com.
